The state's Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) said earlier that it will release the results of the HSC exams in the third week of May on the official website, the link for which is mahresults.nic.in.
Last year, these results were declared on the same date!

Here is everything you need to know about the Maharashtra HSC results in 5 points!

1. Toppers of Maharashtra class 12th results

  • Gawade Amol Dilip topped the Maharashtra Class 12 exam by scoring 642 out of 650 marks
  • Gawade Amit Kisan stood second with a score of 639 out of 650
  • Three students shared the third rank: Chavan Dhanashri EknathSahu Ritika Ramnaresh and Aditya Surendrakumar -- all three scored 637 out of 650 each
  • As many as 5,486 students in Maharashtra scored above 90 per cent in the class 12 exam

2. Pass percentages recorded for Maharashtra HSC results

  • This year, class 12 recorded an overall pass percentage of 88.41 per cent, which is 1.09 per cent lower than that of last year
  • Arts stream recorded 78.96 per cent pass percentage
  • Commerce stream pass percentage was recorded 89.50 per cent
  • Science stream pass percentage was recorded at 95.85 per cent
  • Minimum competency vocational course recorded 82.18 pass percentage

3. Regions of Maharashtra that performed well

  • Konkan division topped with 86.13 pass percentage, as reported by TOI
  • Mumbai has highest 90 plus scorers among 9 divisions with 2,288 students

4. Girls outshined boys in Maharashtra HSC results

Girls have yet again outdone boys by registering 92.36 pass percentage, while boys recorded 85.23 pass percentage.

5. Re-checking of Maharashtra class 12th results 2018 (HSC)

  • The process of re-totalling and getting photocopies of the answer sheet will begin from May 31
  • All the forms will be available online at the official site of the board.
  • For photocopy of answer sheets, the students can submit forms from May 31 to June 19
  • Students who wish to apply for revaluation need to apply for photocopy of answer sheet first and then apply for revaluation within 5 working days of them getting their photocopy at the respective divisional board
  • Students who wish to apply for class improvement scheme have to have passed the Maharashtra class 12th results 2018 in all subjects. These students will get two chances i.e., in July-August 2018 andFebruary-March 2019
